Partnering to Unlock Possibilities

When we come together as a community to support the next generation, the possibilities are endless. Spark partners with local schools, companies and community organizations to surround students with a network of support. In doing so, we pool our resources to make a deeper, enduring impact.

Bridge Gaps - Build Communities

We believe in the value of connecting communities from different parts of the city and connecting people from all walks of life. The Possibility Movement is open to organizations, businesses and institutions across sectors and industries — because we all achieve more when we come together for the betterment of today’s youth.

A Network of Support

Nonprofits and community organizations are critical parts of this network. From after-school groups that integrate Spark into their weekly programming, to neighborhood organizations that provide volunteers and connections to local companies, to fellow nonprofits that support students and families in their transition to high school, Spark is always looking for allies to join The Possibility Movement.

How does Spark work?

How does Spark work?

Spark engages communities to provide career exploration and self-discovery opportunities that help middle school students understand, experience and pursue what’s possible. Spark Lab invites 7th graders into various workplaces for an on-site workshop to help students understand what’s possible for their future and career. By connecting students with identified career interests, Spark offers Workplace-Based Mentorships for 7th grade students so they can experience what it’s like to work in a specific industry while receiving direct guidance from a mentor.  Spark offers High School Pathways to 8th and 9th grade students so they can take action and feel equipped with the knowledge and resources to make the possibilities they’ve experienced real.
