Spark Possibilities at Your School

Spark collaborates with educators to help students connect the dots between school and their futures. Adolescence is a formative stage of development; a time when identities take shape. It’s a time when some students lose sight of the connection between what they’re learning in school and what they're seeing in the “real world.”

Opening Windows Into the Future

In middle school, many students begin to ask big questions: What am I doing here? Why am I learning this? Who do I want to be? Spark helps students investigate these questions with the support of caring adults, so they can formulate their own answers and set out on their journeys of self-discovery. Spark transports students out of the classroom and into nearby workplaces, giving them the opportunity to explore professional environments and reimagine where their education might lead.

A Supported and Impactful Journey

We don’t simply show students what’s possible for their futures; we also provide them with the skills and resources to realize their vision. Through Spark, students move seamlessly from inspiration and exploration, to immersion and skill building, to goal setting and transition. And the result is clear: 92% of Spark alumni graduate high school on time or are on track to do so, compared to only 68% of their peers. The Possibility Movement is bringing this impact to middle schools across the country, and we’re actively looking for new partners to join us in our mission.
