For 3 years, seventh grade Bache-Martin student, Tymir, has been playing the saxophone, so he chose to share his hobby through his Spark mentorship project. With a common interest in history, Tymir and his Deloitte mentors, Erik and Greg, researched the origin of the instrument, along with fast facts and famous people who have played saxophone. They explored its inventor, Adolphe Sax, and the surge in its popularity. Alongside his poster, Tymir also created a tutorial script to teach some simple techniques and notes to guests at Discovery Day!
